False Ego Spring 2020 Collection
The first shoot I had lined up post Covid-19 lockdown was one I had really been looking forward to. Jevon is the CEO of False Ego, a Denver based Eco-friendly apparel company looking to showcase their 2020 Spring Collection. We had been discussing the details and theme for this lifestyle shoot in the weeks leading up to the outbreak, when things were suddenly put on hold. However, we were able to form a plan, and carefully navigate through the challenges that Covid presented with a very successful shoot. The overall direction we wanted to go was “everyday people doing everyday shit” to quote Jevon 😂
We wanted to utilize a more urban setting and nothing jumped off the page to me more than the obvious RINO area. This location has so many hidden gems that often get overlooked by the popular murals and alleyways. Jevon and I took a scout day to walk around the neighborhood and really get a nice plan of attack to maximize the short amount of time we would have come the day of the shoot. Despite the short amount of time we had, we came away with a lot of successful shots and looks to complete the project and more importantly help False Ego with a successful product launch.
